3. Make sure your mover is licensed in the state of Pennsylvania.
4. All movers should provide a written estimate to give you an idea of costs involved.
5. Reputable movers will provide you with valuation information.
6. Do not wait until the last minute. Be ready in advance and be well rested.
7. Clean out your closets, storage areas, etc. a few weeks before your move.
8. Throw away anything that is no longer of value or of any use to you.
9. If you are doing your own packing, please remember that everything needs to be packed. Do not wait until the day before your move to start.
